
Professor Robert Steinbuch

Professor Steinbuch became a law professor after several years in government and private practice. His government service includes clerking on the United States Court of Appeals and working at the United States Department of Justice. Most recently, he worked for the United States Senate Judiciary Committee. His research interests focus on Health Law, Commercial Law, and Law and Democracy. As a scholar in health law, Professor Steinbuch currently serves as a Commissioner on the Arkansas Commission for Newborn Umbilical Cord Blood Bank Initiative. Professor Steinbuch is former Board of Trustees Member for the Society of Chest Pain Centers. Professor Steinbuch has testified before the United States Senate and the United States House of Representatives on issues of health and public safety.
Professor Steinbuch is well published in both law reviews and medical journals. His publications include articles in the Harvard BlackLetter Law Journal, the Houston Law Review, the Maryland Law Review, the Kentucky Law Review, the American Journal of Cardiology, and the Journal of the National Medical Association, among others.
